i think ive figured out how to remove the stock heatsink, now to figure out how to apply thermal paste.
i know how to get it off, just not how to get it on!
i have a C2D E8500, whats the correct method of application ( by method i mean rice grains, strips etc)

On dual-core CPUs, you apply the paste on the chip's heat spreader down the middle from top to bottom. Just a line of paste the same width and one and a half times as long as an uncooked grain of rice.
When I say 'middle' I mean the center when the text printed on the chip is oriented correctly.
Once you have that on, install the heatsink. You should try to wiggle the heatsink just a nudge to the left and right before you finally snap it in.How to apply thermal paste?
Ok, if the old thermal paste is off. basically apply a very very very small amount about 1/4th size of your pinky nail and then spread the paste evenly across the surface of the cpu then put the heatsink back on.
Applying thermal paste is a simple task, but you must take your time as with all things. Remember what the thermal paste does. It gives better conduction between the heatsink and CPU/GPU because it fills in all those little imperfections on the heatsink that cause poor conduction due to having air in them. You only need as much thermal paste as it takes to fill in these little holes/divots.
To apply it, you put a little drop, little being about the size of a rice grain and so it doesn't squeeze out when the sink is reapplied. Once you have the right amount of TIM (will vary depending on the application, GPU will uses less than a CPU with a IHS) you spread it out as thin as you can get it. Heatsinks that are not lapped generally require more thermal paste.
Thermal paste is supplied in dispenser tubes. You simply squeeze some from the tube onto the top off the chip.
Arctic Silver 5. I apply two grains of rice, put the cap back on and use the round cap to spread it around evenly. Apply to cpu or hsf, not both.

Well, I once used fake lashes, and I had the individual kind as well. My eyelashes are already very long, and thick, so there was really no need for me to do it, other than the fact that I was sick of wasting time on mascara every morning! I sat at my couch and poured some of the adhesive glue onto tinfoil, and then used tweezers to grab each lash by the loose end (the side that you don't glue to your lashes). I then dipped the knotted end in the glue, and carefully applied them straight. You have to make sure though, that when you do it, you don't stick the false lashes to your actual eyelashes. If you do this, you will have even more problems with removing them than I did, but I'll get to that in a minute. What you want to do is place the lashes as close to your natural lashes as possible, but without touching them. The problem with mine though, is even after spending 2+ hours carefully putting them on, they began shedding off withing a few days. The directions on my kit said that if you wanted to remove them, soak two cotton balls in baby oil, place one on each side of your lashes, and rub back and forth. Problem is, when I did that, it was very uncomfortable, and they started to snag on the cotton balls and pull away from my eye. It hurt so bad, and I lost -and I'm not even exaggerating here,- HALF of my lashes! That, and my eyes were red and swollen for the next three days. It was horrible. That was about six months ago, and luckily for me, lashes grow back. I am back to having my beautiful, full, long lashes back, and I will never use fake ones again! How to apply royal icing to a cake ? do i have to base it first? and with what?
These are steps on how to apply royal icing to the cake:
Step one.....Make sure your royal icing is not too stiff or too sloppy, is in a suitable bowl and readily to hand.
Step two.....Place your cake to be iced centrally onto the turn table.
Step three.....Using the palette knife put a large dollop of icing onto the top of the cake.(see below) cover the remainder of the icing with the cling film to stop it from drying out.
Step four.....Still using the palette knife, spread the dollop of icing evenly over the top only. Now paddle down the icing for a few moments using a backwards and forwards movement, turning the cake on the turntable as you go.(see below) The paddling displaces any unwanted air bubbles from the icing. At this point don't worry about any icing spilling over the edges...unless of course it is a flood then do scrape up the torrent. Give the palette knife a clean.
Step five.....Using the straight edge, Holding it at the two ends start at the furthest edge away from you....at an angle of 45 degrees to the surface, draw it across the cake towards your body in one continuous movement, making sure not to press down too hard. (see below) Return any icing collected on the straight edge back to the bowl. If you are unhappy with your first attempt scrape off and start again, you can do this as many times as you like whilst the icing is still wet and not crusting, about five minuitess max. As long as the first coat is level you're doing fine so far. Clean the straight edge after each attempt.
Step six.....Using the palette knife, remove any icing from the sides of the cake but don't return it to the bowl if it has become crusty.
seven.....Leave in a dry atmosphere to harden. The top should be dry enough after two hours to enable icing to be applied to the sides. It is possible to ice the top and sides together, but it is easier to do them one at a time when starting out.
Step eight.....Make sure the cake is in the centre of the turntable. Using the palette knife spread icing onto the sides. Paddle the icing as before turning the cake as you go.(see below) Clean the knife.
Step nine.....Using the side scraper, Hold the scraper at a slight angle (about 15 degrees) against the cake side, with your other hand take hold of the board/turntable at the back of the cake near to the scraper. Slowly, but without stopping, revolve the cake until a circle has been completed.(see below) When the entire surface is smooth, lift the scraper away from the side. This will leave a take-off mark which initially will be very pronounced. With practice and after further coats of icing this mark will be less noticeable. If you are unhappy with your first attempt then re paddle and have another go. When finished clean the scraper.
Step ten....Using the palette knife, remove any surplus icing which has crept over the top edge of the cake. Do not return this icing to the bowl it will have dry icing in it. Clean off any icing left on the board. Clean the palette knife.
tep eleven.....Leave the cake in a dry atmosphere to harden overnight then start all over again the next day. Store the remaining icing in an airtight container for later use. Two coats are absolutely necessary a third is recommended. If you are a beginner you may find that four or even five coats are needed before a satisfactory finish is obtained....don't despair though a little practice and you soon get your icing legs.
Step twelve.....Before adding the second layer of icing make sure the first is dry. Remove any rough edges and the take-off line with the aid of the sharp knife. Use the soft brush to remove any loose partials of icing which could spoil the next coat of icing. The icing used for the second covering should be slightly softer than the first. Icing from the previous day should be of the correct consistency needed, it will need a stir before use though.
Step thirteen.....The third or final coat of icing, softer still than the previous coats, about the consistency of of slightly whipped cream. The final coat is applied in exactly the same way as before, but with a little more pressure added when using the straight edge and the side scraper. How to apply make up properly..?
i apply make up every day to wotk but it doesn't look good as other girls and i look like apply lots of powders. also it never last long time by the time i finish work my make up all gone. pls can anyone tell how to apply make properly. thnk uHow to apply make up properly..?
Use a liquid concealer for any dark circles and spots etc, dab it on, and rub with a finger, dont smear it on.
Apply foundation to your forehead, nose, chin and a little bit on the cheeks and gently stroke it outwards up to your hair line, and down to your neck aswell, so it looks more natural and doesn't make you look like you have a mask on.
Use blusher if you want a little colour, apply to the apples of your cheeks and gently stroke outwards.
You may want to dab a bit of powder on to your t-zone, etc, if you have shiny skin.
If you wear eye make up use a light colour over your eyelid and upto your eyebrow bone, then use a darker colour to define the creases of your eyelid. You can also use a little eyeliner if you wish, but don't use alot if you are wearing eyeshadow. Also apply a mascara to make your lashes more dramatic, apply thin coats, leaving to dry before applying another.
For lips, well apply to the center of your lips, then spreading outwards to the corners, blot with tissue, then apply again.

I like the liquid to powder foundation. It seems to go on without looking so thick.
Start with a CLEAN (dry) fresh face.. If you have alot of pimples try some proactive but in the meantime cover up with a foundation ( i use liquid/powder 2 in one) and you can carry an extra to touch up though out the day... makeup generally wears off throughout the day but if you touch up you should look flawless all day.. i recommend claniqe ... as far as eye liner i apply my pencil and then line it with a contor brush in black/brown powder and my eye shadow i use bonnie bell shimmers which seem to last forever..
i use bare minerals . its a three step prosses but i only use the foundation powder to even my skin tone then i use concealer for under my eyes and any pimples i just dab on with my fingers and then i put on mascara and go . on days when my skin is looking kinda gross i use mayballine mouse matte or something and i just use a wedge sponge to smooth on my face . hope that helps =]

If you go to your department store's make up section, find a girl on the counters whose make up you like and ask for a demonstration and advice. It may be free though you may have to buy one of their products and I suggest getting a good moisturiser, foundation and a light, translucent powder- Clinique are pretty good and affordable and I like YSL Touche Eclat concealer pen. A good set of clean brushes and wedge sponges are also important for applying and don't apply it too heavily- keep it natural. Practise more with your look when you have time and not in a rush in the morning. Perhaps with your friends copying magazine looks or ask the girls at work round for a make up lesson. And make up usually needs reapplying throughout the day.

when i first started using make up i asked this question too.
But i found the best way to learn how to apply it properly is to experiment yourself.
Use a liquid concealer for any dark circles and spots etc, dab it on, and rub with a finger, dont smear it on.
Apply foundation to your forehead, nose, chin and a little bit on the cheeks and gently stroke it outwards up to your hair line, and down to your neck aswell, so it looks more natural and doesn't make you look like you have a mask on.
Use blusher if you want a little colour, apply to the apples of your cheeks and gently stroke outwards.
You may want to dab a bit of powder on to your t-zone, etc, if you have shiny skin.
If you wear eye make up use a light colour over your eyelid and upto your eyebrow bone, then use a darker colour to define the creases of your eyelid. You can also use a little eyeliner if you wish, but don't use alot if you are wearing eyeshadow. Also apply a mascara to make your lashes more dramatic, apply thin coats, leaving to dry before applying another.
For lips, well apply to the center of your lips, then spreading outwards to the corners, blot with tissue, then apply again.

bare minerals is the best makeup you could ever use, stop using powders and start using bare minerals. you will look 10x better than the girls at work. it is a little expensive but its worth it.

I like the liquid to powder foundation. It seems to go on without looking so thick.
Start with a CLEAN (dry) fresh face.. If you have alot of pimples try some proactive but in the meantime cover up with a foundation ( i use liquid/powder 2 in one) and you can carry an extra to touch up though out the day... makeup generally wears off throughout the day but if you touch up you should look flawless all day.. i recommend claniqe ... as far as eye liner i apply my pencil and then line it with a contor brush in black/brown powder and my eye shadow i use bonnie bell shimmers which seem to last forever..
i use bare minerals . its a three step prosses but i only use the foundation powder to even my skin tone then i use concealer for under my eyes and any pimples i just dab on with my fingers and then i put on mascara and go . on days when my skin is looking kinda gross i use mayballine mouse matte or something and i just use a wedge sponge to smooth on my face . hope that helps =]

If you go to your department store's make up section, find a girl on the counters whose make up you like and ask for a demonstration and advice. It may be free though you may have to buy one of their products and I suggest getting a good moisturiser, foundation and a light, translucent powder- Clinique are pretty good and affordable and I like YSL Touche Eclat concealer pen. A good set of clean brushes and wedge sponges are also important for applying and don't apply it too heavily- keep it natural. Practise more with your look when you have time and not in a rush in the morning. Perhaps with your friends copying magazine looks or ask the girls at work round for a make up lesson. And make up usually needs reapplying throughout the day.

How to apply royal icing to a cake ? do i have to base it first? and with what?
the way I ice a cake is by doing a crumb coat first. Which is just the icing but applied kind of thin. Then put it in the refrigerator until it crusts. Then you apply the full frosting (sides first if you want a more professional look) The reason for the crumb coat is to hold the crumbs in that first layer of frosting so that when you spread the frosting all over the cake, the frosting isn't full of crumbs. Step one.....Make sure your royal icing is not too stiff or too sloppy, is in a suitable bowl and readily to hand.
Step two.....Place your cake to be iced centrally onto the turn table.

At this point don't worry about any icing spilling over the edges...unless of course it is a flood then do scrape up the torrent. Give the palette knife a clean.
Step five.....Using the straight edge, Holding it at the two ends start at the furthest edge away from you....at an angle of 45 degrees to the surface, draw it across the cake towards your body in one continuous movement, making sure not to press down too hard. (see below) Return any icing collected on the straight edge back to the bowl. If you are unhappy with your first attempt scrape off and start again, you can do this as many times as you like whilst the icing is still wet and not crusting, about five minuitess max. As long as the first coat is level you're doing fine so far. Clean the straight edge after each attempt.
Step six.....Using the palette knife, remove any icing from the sides of the cake but don't return it to the bowl if it has become crusty.
seven.....Leave in a dry atmosphere to harden. The top should be dry enough after two hours to enable icing to be applied to the sides. It is possible to ice the top and sides together, but it is easier to do them one at a time when starting out.
Step eight.....Make sure the cake is in the centre of the turntable. Using the palette knife spread icing onto the sides. Paddle the icing as before turning the cake as you go.(see below) Clean the knife.
Step nine.....Using the side scraper, Hold the scraper at a slight angle (about 15 degrees) against the cake side, with your other hand take hold of the board/turntable at the back of the cake near to the scraper. Slowly, but without stopping, revolve the cake until a circle has been completed.(see below) When the entire surface is smooth, lift the scraper away from the side. This will leave a take-off mark which initially will be very pronounced. With practice and after further coats of icing this mark will be less noticeable. If you are unhappy with your first attempt then re paddle and have another go. When finished clean the scraper.
Step ten....Using the palette knife, remove any surplus icing which has crept over the top edge of the cake. Do not return this icing to the bowl it will have dry icing in it. Clean off any icing left on the board. Clean the palette knife.
tep eleven.....Leave the cake in a dry atmosphere to harden overnight then start all over again the next day. Store the remaining icing in an airtight container for later use. Two coats are absolutely necessary a third is recommended. If you are a beginner you may find that four or even five coats are needed before a satisfactory finish is obtained....don't despair though a little practice and you soon get your icing legs.
Step twelve.....Before adding the second layer of icing make sure the first is dry. Remove any rough edges and the take-off line with the aid of the sharp knife. Use the soft brush to remove any loose partials of icing which could spoil the next coat of icing. The icing used for the second covering should be slightly softer than the first. Icing from the previous day should be of the correct consistency needed, it will need a stir before use though.
Step thirteen.....The third or final coat of icing, softer still than the previous coats, about the consistency of of slightly whipped cream. The final coat is applied in exactly the same way as before, but with a little more pressure added when using the straight edge and the side scraper. Most of the icing is taken off the cake, leaving a thin, smooth film of icing.

How on powerpoint can you put a song on it and apply it to all slides please help thank-you?
1) Insert Sound from File
2) Browse and select the sound file
3)You may get asked how you want it to start, click automatically
4)Double-click on the sound icon and select hide...during slide show
5)right-click on the icon and select custom animation
6)double-click the play item in the list of animations (this should show the name of the file with a little play symbol in front of it.)
7) Select the After x slides, but make sure the number selected is your last slide.

What You Need:
* False Lashes (I prefer Ardell or NYX as they are less expensive)
* Lash Adhesive (Duo lash adhesive is best)
* Tweezers
* Small Scissors
Steps to Applying False Lashes:
1. Carefully remove your lashes from the container by using tweezers and pulling them at the base.
2. Size your lashes by holding them to your eye to see if you need to make them shorter. If needed, trim the outer edge of the lashes with some small scissors.
3. Using your lash adhesive, apply a small amount along the bottom rim of the false lashes. Take your time as not to get any glue on the lashes themselves.
4. Allow your lashes to sit for 30-60 seconds until the glue is tacky. While you are waiting, hold the lashes in a U shape to help them form to the shape of your eyes.
5. Once the glue has set a bit and is tacky, hold the lashes with the tweezers or your fingers and aim downwards.
6. Look down slightly and place the middle of the lashes very close to your natural lashline. Be very careful not to place on your lashes, but on the lid right next to your lashes.

What You Need:
* False Lashes (I prefer Ardell or NYX as they are less expensive)
* Lash Adhesive (Duo lash adhesive is best)

Steps to Applying False Lashes:
1. Carefully remove your lashes from the container by using tweezers and pulling them at the base.
2. Size your lashes by holding them to your eye to see if you need to make them shorter. If needed, trim the outer edge of the lashes with some small scissors.
3. Using your lash adhesive, apply a small amount along the bottom rim of the false lashes. Take your time as not to get any glue on the lashes themselves.
4. Allow your lashes to sit for 30-60 seconds until the glue is tacky. While you are waiting, hold the lashes in a U shape to help them form to the shape of your eyes.
5. Once the glue has set a bit and is tacky, hold the lashes with the tweezers or your fingers and aim downwards.
6. Look down slightly and place the middle of the lashes very close to your natural lashline. Be very careful not to place on your lashes, but on the lid right next to your lashes.

The best wey to get all the information is to start wtih the university's and department's website. It contains all info. you need to know about admissions, cost of study, cost of living and other things else. If you want more info, you can always ask the admission officer. From my experience, they are very very helpful and nice. You can even ask them straightforwardly about the scholarship if you need financial assistance. There are plenty of financial aids available for itnernational students and the admission officers appear to be willing to help qualified students get them.
I think the only Asian universiites in the same standing (or very slightly better based on some people's perceptions) may include University of Tokyo and Beijing University (and Melbourne University if you count Australia as in Asia). This is based on the Times Higher Ranking, though I personally think the are just equal academically. For me, I chose NUS because it's closest to my home compared the other three mentioned. Considering that you are in Phillipines, NUS is probably obviously an excellent choice if you still want to stay close to your homeland.

You have to return and apply for the visa the legal way, but since you are here illegally, there is a ten year ban from entering the country...no exceptions. I would have thought more before starting a family, it was very selfish of you.
I think that you have to go back to the country you came from and apply for citizen ship there and then come back after you are legal. The law have changed so much over the year, contact a immigration attorny and ask them what you need to do. All of your questiuons are too complex to be answered by people who do not know your case so just find a attorny who works with immigrants. Good Luck

The cops are absolutely no help at all. I called the number on their website, was transferred to one number and told to call back. I called back at the appointed time only to be told that that department didn't issue protest permits. I was transferred to another line and spoke to someone who didn't handle permits. That person transferred me to another person, who transferred me to someone else, who suggested that I call the Midtown South Precinct. I called and spoke to someone who tried to refer me back to the second number! I told the woman on the other end that I had already spoken to that person. She put me on hold. Then the phone got disconnected. (Most likely she ';accidentally'; hung up on me.)

The key to having liner that will stay on the inside of the bottom lash is the PRODUCT itself. Stila Smudgepot has worked for me. Its a cake/gel liner and you apply it with an angled brush and it will stay on all day long.
MAC also has a pot eyeliner, i forget what its called but it works well also. MAC is cheaper if your looking for a low-cost eyeliner.
Use a liquid liner or gel. MAC makes one called fluidline that lasts all day without smudging. The trick is to use a small angle brush to dab lightly at the base of the lashes. The less you use, the thinner the line. For a more dramatic line, just press a little more.

Depending on the company, you could demand it but probably end up ';restructured'; out of the company after your return. Then, on the other hand, your company may offer you time off with a smile - but that`s pretty doubtful.

To be honest, I really do not enjoy the methods of the most huanted team. they go into things assuming every little thing is because a place is haunted. There are TONS of investigation groups out there. And if you want somebody well known who goes into things and tries to figure out what it is and does not assume everything is a ghost then that would be your best bet.
