what im askin is for the minimum number of colleges i should apply to.
and if you wanna get best answer, answer this too.
how many of them should be reach, and how many safety?Im a junior in high school, how many colleges should i apply to?
I applied to 3: 1 reach (University of Florida) 1 that I was pretty sure I could get into (University of South Florida, I did get into) and 1 I knew I could get into (University of North Florida- where I actually ended up going). There's no need to apply to more than 4 schools, but you need to apply to at least 2 or 3 in my opinion. Those kids who apply to more than 4, do so for no good reason. You should narrow your choices down before you start applying, as it costs money and time to fill out the applications for the different schools. Unless you have several ';reach'; schools that you would love to get into, but aren't sure you can - then it's totally not necessary to apply to a million different places. Im a junior in high school, how many colleges should i apply to?
When I started applying, I was told to apply to 4 or 5. One being your dream school (reach), one being one you KNOW you can get into (safety) and a few in the middle.
For me, my reach was Berklee College of Music, my safety was a community college, and my ';middle'; ones were state universities.
I applied to 7. 2 or 3 you know you can get into. 2 you think your are fit for, maybe could go either way. And then two reach schools you would like to go to but maybe are out of reach. You want to give yourself options as some schools might offer you scholarships or different opportunities.
It depends on what kind of school you are applying to. If you are applying to an open access school (like a community college), you only need one application. if you are applying to state or private colleges, I'd suggest AT LEAST 3-5 applications.
I think you should apply to one safety school that you know you will get in to, one local college, and two schools of your choice. If you have good grades and extracurriculars try one really good college that exceeds your other choices.
My opinion is that you apply to at least three. One from your area, one you really want to get into, and the last one a backup college in case the first two don't work out.
you should apply to 10-20 schools.
2-4 reach schools( schools with low acceptance rates)
6-10 middle(schools which you have a decent chance)
2-6 safety schools( ones with easy admissions)

Do you know anything about how to apply for a Job as a Sales Rep for Companies like......?
GoldWEll, Matrix, TIGI. Major Cosmetology companies. I sent out my resume month ago and now I want to resend it out again. any information would be helpful! Thanks!Do you know anything about how to apply for a Job as a Sales Rep for Companies like......?
Being a hairstylest would be a must. I myself have been in the industry for 8 years but I am not a stylist - I also sent off my resumes to companies such as Matrix, Redken, KMS, and Tigi and didnt hear back from any of them.Do you know anything about how to apply for a Job as a Sales Rep for Companies like......?
I don't know... times are tough and with more chain salons taking over... they don't need as many sales people.
But I'll give your resume to my co-worker and we will see if his wife can help you..... I gotta find my good resume paper first cause it looks like SHI*T on that white paper.... my coco friend.
I would suggest asking at a salon when the rep is expected and then asking the rep how to get on with the company they are working for. You could call the sales and marketing dept of each of the companies you are interested in working for how to get a job there. You could call and ask if you could 'job shadow' for a day or week. You've got to work it, HARD!! They want to see drive and initiative, not ';let's send off a resume and see what happens'; - that goes NO WHERE!! Of course you could ALWAYS start your own business as a Mary Kay rep; they are, after all, the No. 1 skin care and colour cosmetics company in North America.

I want to continue my study on abroad, any suggest how can I apply, I am a law student?
When i did law at uni there was an exchange programme, called Erasmus. People from my year studied in france, the netherlands and spain.
Check out the website and talk to your tutor at uni.I want to continue my study on abroad, any suggest how can I apply, I am a law student?
It depends on where you are going to study. Normally you will have to follow these steps :
-Try to find two or more colleges and universities which offer your branches of studying (in order to assure your acceptance) by doing some research on the internet.
-Go to their websites, click Admission (or whatever) to see their intrustion, follow them. Usually you have to mail to the Admission office to request an application form and fill it out, then do other special procedure of each university.
-You do not receive financial aid from school in Law. However there are plenty of Scholarship funds, or you can ask your Deparment of Education for aid if you think you are qualified.
*Remember you MUST have a Toefl certification and other degrees which your colleges require.
Hope this helped.

Spiritually speaking, how afraid are conservatives when a product tells them to ';apply liberally';?
I actually got a chuckle out of that one.Spiritually speaking, how afraid are conservatives when a product tells them to ';apply liberally';?
Well, hand sanitizer is supposed to be applied ';liberally';, but it doesn't mix well with lighting a cigarette immediately afterwards.Spiritually speaking, how afraid are conservatives when a product tells them to ';apply liberally';?
Very afraid unless it's lighter fluid. Then they try to apply it to us liberals in massive amounts.
*edit*
Jill, you seriously are an idiot. Aren't you?
Haha, I seem to have struck a nerve, haven't I? I guess you realize your an idiot too.
And I'm such a fruitcake that if you weren't such an idiot, I would get with you. :p
I only apply things moderately.
Actually we forget our principles, use more than we need, and charge it to the taxpayers.
ha ha ha.
That's a good one. I think I'll use it.

After applying, how long should it take for a call (if there is one) to get an interview?
I am applying for many different part-time jobs, when should I expect a call back if they are going to?After applying, how long should it take for a call (if there is one) to get an interview?
If you applied online, grant a 24 hour waiting period for them to receive the application. It shouldn't take any longer than this. If you have not heard anything, call. You can check to see if they received it; if they have, ask them when you'll be given a call for an interview. The longest I've ever seen someone take to call me back however, not calling them, was about 2 weeks. It might also be a good idea to see how long your application will be held for (paper or electronic) because this also means that while you might not get a call right away, if they have your application for 6 months, they can still pull it up and call you during that time. Good luck with your hunt! After applying, how long should it take for a call (if there is one) to get an interview?
When you applied, did they tell you when to expect a call. If not, I would wait about 3 days. If you still haven't heard from them, give them a call. Be persistent. It shows that you really would like the position.
That is one thing you can ask on the interview. They usually have an idea of their time-lines when they are dong the interviews. Write down the time they give you and if you haven't heard ans are really interested in the job, then you can call them beck and ask them if they have made a decision yet. Sometimes you might get back in the race with this call. Good luck.
