Where I work, we use it to convert our presentations into files that we can share electronically with our business partners.
Under normal circumstances, we could only share the presentation visually, since sending it to them as a Powerpoint file would allow them to make changes to a document that has our logo on it.
Converting it to an Acrobat file allows us to share it with them, but keeps it in an un-editable format.How does Adobe Acrobat apply to business?
Adobe Acrobat is NOT a presentation program. Maybe you're thinking of PowerPoint?
Acrobat is simply a means of transmitting information that you don't want changed.
If you don't mind it being changed, you can just use Word; but Acrobat is not readily editable.
