Matthew 17:20 How does this apply to your life or circumstance/s?

Well, I have never heard of a literal mountain ever being moved, even by Jesus! So I assume He is speaking metaphorically. Right before this verse, Jesus cast out a demon that His disciples could not. We all have demons of some sort bothering us. We may have anxiety, obsessions, anger, chemical dependencies, relationship problems, etc, which seem impossible to correct, overcome, or even manage. These are mountains. If we allow Jesus, by means of His indwelling presence in us, to operate in our heart, they CAN be removed. The key ingredient is faith. Faith is our connection to God. It is not something we produce by self effort, emotional striving, or will power. Faith is God Himself infused into us. When we read His word, appreciation for Him should increase. This is faith. God is so powerful, even a tiny amount of faith can move a mountain of problems. This is the mustard seed. Try it! Open to Jesus today. Be honest to Him about your personal mountains. And open to His living word.Matthew 17:20 How does this apply to your life or circumstance/s?
you msut be good if you knwo what it is right offMatthew 17:20 How does this apply to your life or circumstance/s?
Have faith in yourself and seemingly impossible tasks may be successfully undertaken. Peace!
I have found over the years, that faith is a gift first and foremost, and like the grain cast upon stone, or burned by the sun, is soon choked off by this world. It is a thing one must cherish as a most precious possession, water, fertilize and care for it, then pass it on.
It doesn't. But thanks for asking...
It is a reminder to always meet with fellow worshipers to share the word and holy spirit ,worshipping Jehovah God and confirming our faith in the sacrifice of his beloved son Jesus.
Faith as a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds that grows into the largest of all plants. The idea is that we start with enough faith to get saved, and it grows us to Spiritual people who do great things for the Lord!!!!
It tells me if even a little mustard seed of faith could do so much how much would truely believing bring into each and every one of our lives. GODBLESS
huh, It means that if you have even the littlest faith, you can do a lot of stuff. Well, i do belive in God but it just that I dont have that much faith, i think that Jesus(it is Jesus) just want us to have faith and everything we do in life are not impossible.
For those who don't have this memorized, it basically says believe in God and nothing will be impossible.
That God will help you in every situation if you put him first in your life and trust that he will help you.

He will be there for us.
Mt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Faith can do things that people would think cannot be done...it is true. For example, faith healing....

However, it would be grossly sinful for someone to challenge a believer, and say, okay, if nothing is impossible, then get a billion dollars! That would be ';testing the Lord.'; And the Bible says, ';you shall not test the Lord your God.';

Satan did that to Jesus. Satan said, ';if you are the Son of God, turn these rocks to bread.'; Jesus Christ answered: ';man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.';
what's it say

edit: based on what that first dude said
