I am really bad with make up, but can someone teach me how to apply this eyeshadow?

I never really worn eyeshadow. I dont even know the basics. i just know how to put on eyeshadow.


anyways, how do u do ur make up like this?

it looks simple enough..the hardest part may actually be making that winged look with the eyeshadow at the outer corners of the eyes. aaanyway, here's my take on it:





1) prime your eyelids with a base. it sounds like you don't wear make up so you can just use something basic like pressed powder. if not, you can get products like urban decay primer potion or a MAC paint to use as your base. using a base will keep your eye make up from smudging and wearing away!





2) brush a sheer, light shadow (i.e. MAC rice paper) right under your eyebrow. this is a highlight.





3) apply a charcoal colored eyeshadow onto your lid with a brush. you should apply all the way up to your crease, maybe go a little over the crease as well (but not to much!). use a little at a time.. you can always add more color if it's not bright enough for you, but it's really hard to get rid of color if you put to much on!





4) get a clean blending brush (MAC #224 is my favorite) and brush it over the edge of your eyeshadow (where you stopped at the crease). keep blending.. you can use a wind-shield wiper or circular motion. the goal here is to get rid of the harsh line and make it look like your eyeshadow is fading into the sheer, light shadow under your brow bone. after doing this, you can try to get an angled brush to blend out the outer corner into a pointier shape.





5) apply black eyeliner on your eyelid, drawing on/veryyy close to your lash line. you want the line to blend in with your lashes. after lining the top, line your bottom waterline as well. the waterline is the inner part of your lid (above lashes).





6) finally, curl lashes and brush on mascara!
